yup, one of the better ones. comparable to Melaka’s version, IMO.
though Joo Hooi charges 50 cents extra if you’re having the cendol inside the shop.

luckily they opened a shop of their own, directly behind this one. so you can have your cendol, seated, with fans inside the comfort of a shop.

Pai seh, I never been to Penang before. But I know the place has a lot of good food.

I think assam laksa normally is a girl’s food. My husband dislike it too.

I LOVE laksa of any kind. The spicy coconut milk one, and the slightly sourish Laksa Penang. Oh food glorious food.

I also love Chendol. I cannot fathom anyone who doesn’t like it. I’m already so satisfied with the Chendol I can find in Singapore… If it’s any better in Penang, I’d definitely have to give it a try one day. Thank God for us being Southeast Asians.

The pink one is bandung, white for soy drink? What about the black one?
Chendol gonna makes my day, especially in a hot & humid weather.

Black one should be cincau. =)

de last time u went to penang is 6 years ago.. perhaps de cars and the people there have grown bigger but de road nvr grew after so long, tat’s y u feel tat it’s more crowded now!! keke..
